12/13 - Saying No

Sometimes we have to say no

To ourselves

And the things we aren't

obligated

to do,

beyond our own feeling that we are

obligated

to do so.

So we say no, 

and it's okay,

the world keeps turning,

and we can breathe a little bit easier,

despite the tinge of guilt

that stains our immortal souls.
