10/10 H
I wanted to, on this very special day, just celebrate the fact that we have at least 15 years of friendship to look back on and smile about. No matter the distance between us in time or space, we pick up right where we last left off and begin the chorus of laughter all over again. You have always stood by my side, encouraging my dreams, celebrating my happiness, and listening to my heart. I can only hope that I have done the same for you. Thank you for your amazing friendship. Here's to the next 15 years as we take this world by storm. :)
Love you always,
E

I Have No Idea
(Sorry for the rhyming kick... but not really.)
"Why does my nose itch?"
"Why do I have the hiccups?"
"These are the big life questions we must consider."
-------
Beyond general silliness:
I am just immeasurably grateful for the constancy that is present in these lasting relationships in my life ... where each person, as well as the relationship itself, has room to grow and change with time, but the heart of what makes the pairing special remains rooted in the true spark of where it began.

Brief
Yay for love and friendship that makes long distances inconsequential.

We are not just friends forever. We are sisters. I love you to the moon and back! You and I have the same spirit and I could not be more grateful to have you in my life. We are THE worst. :)

Recital Jitters
... I don't have them yet! What?! I'm just really excited to sing for all of the people who are coming and celebrate this accomplishment with them after. :) Vedremo....

Fat Tuesday
Confession: I didn't do my homework tonight. It's Mardi Gras - I lived it up with a friend in the rooftop garden of her smashing new apartment over brie, crackers, salami, grapes, M&Ms, and wine. Definitely part of the good life.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Lenten season. Matt Maher's "40 Days" has been stuck in my head for about a week - I'll share it tomorrow. I'm giving up complaining. And maybe added sugar. :)
"40 days to wander,
40 days to die to self..."

Just felt like an open letter tonight.
I don't know.
